On Friday 19th March, the Nursery launched “Physical Friday.” The children had a great time joining in with boot camp exercises to music and practising physical skills such as throwing, catching, hopping and skipping. The children were able to visit the Primary School where they used lots of energy running around the track and playing in the ball court.
The British Heart Foundation recommends that children aged 2 and over have at least 3 hours of vigorous exercise every day. So we are making every Friday “Physical Friday”. Children will be learning how to throw and catch, jump, hop, skip, ride a balance bike and how to make healthy snacks.
Please make sure your child is always dressed to be active, with trainers and comfortable clothes.
